Spring Helps Build an Exciting New Concept in Portable Media.

Spring Computing Technologies, a leading supplier of embedded software services in India, has partnered with a leading Content Collection and Services company to develop a system that allows its users to play any song in their personal library on their mobile phones.

A user's entire music collection, be it a CD purchased at a retail, or a song purchased online, or the music collection on the home PC, shows up on the mobile phone. User can play any song at the press of a button anywhere in the world. One can also access media such as TV shows, podcasts and eBooks. The system also allows users to share music content with their friends so that the recipient can listen to the complete songs for a limited period. Purchase feature of the system can be used to purchase the media after the trial period.

Spring is developing a suite of mobile applications for the customer to support various SmartPhones such as Windows Mobile, Android, iPhone, Palm and also a range of other devices that support Flash.

The product will be launched globally in March 2010.
